One Big Match

The story

Events often fall flat because people don't know who to talk to. Whether it's a networking mixer, a team-building session, or a club meetup, organizers end up guessing who should be paired with whom, and the first few minutes are usually awkward.

We built One Big Match to take that guesswork away. Attendees join by scanning a QR code or tapping a link, sign in with Google, and take a short personality quiz. The host then picks the group size, chooses between random or similarity-based matching, and presses start. The app groups people by shared interests and personality so conversations come more naturally. We also kept it privacy-friendly: it only collects basic information, and users can delete their profile and event history at any time.
