Empty trucks are costing our farmers money. Hakot is an AI-assisted logistics marketplace that matches farmers with truck drivers to cut empty backhauls.

Outcome 1st Runner-Up among 80+ participants at Ship or Be Shipped
The story
Farmers and operators often run empty backhauls while produce still needs to move. Hakot makes those trips easier to see and match: fewer wasted miles, better farm-to-market flow.
It was my first overnight hackathon, Ship or Be Shipped by Build and Ship Philippines at the Kaya Founders offices, built with Edward, Eduardo and Abby.
What came of it
After three pivots in 24 hours, Hakot stood out among 80+ participants and took 1st Runner-Up.
